"If the constitution, offered to your acceptance, be a wise one, calculated to preserve the invaluable blessings of liberty, to secure the inestimable rights of mankind, and promote human happiness, then, if you accept it, you will lay a lasting foundation of happiness for millions yet unborn; generations to come will rise up and call you blessed." | Brutus I

The invaluable blessings of liberty

This site contains articles  and information about issues that fall under the Christian worldview umbrella, some basic civics resources, and action items on current legislation or other pertinent events.

I consider myself to be somewhat of a political junkie, not because I necessarily love politics per se but because I care about my  country, my home state of Arizona, and the issues we face as a society. One of my primary goals is to engage others who are operating from a Christian worldview to pay attention and get engaged, especially at the state level. I've  been doing free "A Day at the Capitol" group training events since the summer of 2019 in the hopes of equipping others. I have also always been vocal about my beliefs, both in person and on social media.  Because I am fond of controversial topics, such as life issues,  I've been witness to nasty and disgusting comments.  (for example, abortion supporters who sometimes tell pro life supporters that they or their daughters deserve to be raped) But thankfully, those comments were not the norm.  Today, it's become extraordinarily challenging to navigate through social media on anything political or societal. Hateful and threatening is definitely the new norm.  In the radical liberal playbook Rules for Radicals, Saul Alinsky states that, "he who controls the language, controls the future." There is truth to that. But, I believe in being salt and light. I refuse to cower and let the language of political discourse be controlled through fear and intimidation. This means that those of us who can still discuss topics thoughtfully and rationally should absolutely not shrink back and be silent.  If we leave the dialogue to the loudest, nastiest and often times craziest voices, what does that teach a generation of young people who will follow us? Let us be diligent to preserve the invaluable blessings of liberty for our children and our children's children.  On this site, it is acceptable and healthy to agree, disagree, or bring up another point of view, but there will be zero tolerance for threats, insults, cussing or other hatefulness. I hope this site helps you get informed, ask questions and learn to be an effective voice!
